Booking Conditions


Fuel

 

All Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when the hire started. If returned with a lower amount, there will be a charge. Please note whether your vehicle is Petrol or Diesel.

 

 

Office Hours (Collecting & Returning Vehicles)

 

Office hours are 8am till 6pm Mon-Fri, 8am till 4pm Saturday. Vehicles can be left onsite during the hire period. Vehicles brought back outside office hours, are the hirers’ responsibility until the vehicle has been signed in the next working day. If any problems are found, the hirer will be notified immediately. Our site has 24 hour security, and is CCTV monitored. Hirers own vehicles can be left at our site, however vehicles and contents are left entirely at owners risk.

 

 

Deposits

 

For every hire there is a £250 deposit, this has to be put on a card. Deposits cannot be paid with cash or cheque. No transaction takes place, but the amount is authorised for the period of the hire in case of damage to the vehicle, or shortfall of fuel. This authorisation automatically cancels, you do not have to do anything.

 

 

Breakdown Cover Breakdown

 

Cover is included within England, Scotland and Wales only. Any breakdowns outside the UK are not covered by our policy, and must be arranged by the hirer.

 

 

Going Abroad

 

Hire is available to the continent subject to an additional charge. Any breakdowns outside the UK are not covered by our policy and must be arranged by the hirer.

 

 

Additional Drivers

 

Additional drivers can be added to the insurance policy. To arrange for additional driver or further information, please phone the office and speak to an advisor.

 

 

What do I need to bring to hire a vehicle?

 

  • A valid UK full driving licence (Please note that if you have the new two-part driving licence, both parts are required), We cannot hire vehicles to recently disqualified drivers. If you are missing a part of your driving licence, then we can call the DVLA for information and endorsement details, this is on a premium rate phone number, therefore there is a further charge of £5.
  • Proof of your address, containing your name and Address (i.e. Utility bill, Bank statement etc.).
  • Credit Card or equivalent for the deposit (Not AMEX).
  • A method of payment.

 

 Additional Costs

 

If a driver is of a young age, there may be a small additional charge within the insurance.

 

The same applies with endorsements, any convictions within 5 years are entered into the system, there may be a small additional charge within the insurance. For example a driver with an SP30 2 years ago may have to pay an extra 21 pence.
